My baby chickens have a little playpen at my friends farm so they can get used to the outdoors. My friend is still taking care of them for me until I decide it's time to bring them to their forever home.
Here's the chicks playing outside in their little pen.
This past weekend, I went to Tractor Supply and Southern States to pick up some items I need.
I got a bag of pine shavings.
I also got a big bag of feed.
Some grit that my chicks will need mixed into their food.
Feeder and a waterer.
I also got leg bands.
I can't wait to bring them home. I'm hoping to get out to the farm this weekend at some point to visit them. We will see.
