Seven Oaks Lavender Farm

Back on October 1st, my BFF, little sister and niece met my Aunt Karen, Cousin Lora and her daughter Livi at Seven Oaks Lavender Farm.  We all love lavender and thought it would be a fun day to venture out to the farm.
There were a few plants with some blooms of lavender on them and I found this one with a little bee.  🙂

The plants are done and are all waiting to bloom next year.   Lavender season is June-end of July.  It’s a short season but the farm is open for you to explore.  I’ve been before during July and the lavender fields are just beautiful.  Right now there’s workshops where you can make some cute things.
Here’s Livi and Ellie in a little gazebo on the farm.  It’s all decorated for Halloween.

We had some lavender and lemon cupcakes and some hot tea.  Both were delicious!

Livi and Ellie made Monster Spray. It’s just a lavender scented spray to freshen up a room.
You could also make little sachets.  I made one and drew a little sprig of lavender on it.

We bought a few things in the cute little shop.  If you love lavender you need to check this farm out.  After the farm we were hungry so we went to Messick’s Farm Market.  We passed it on the way to the lavender farm and it looked adorable.  We all had a yummy lunch.  I got a BLT and hot cider.  MMMMMM!!!  After lunch we got the little ones ice cream while we sat around and caught up with one another.
Here’s the girls having a wagon lunch.  🙂  It was a fun day!
