My first Chicken egg

On September 14th, something big happened...

Finally…The wait is over.  My chicken Buttercup, (my easter egger) laid her first egg.  She’s 22 weeks old.  I’m so excited!  She’s not a freeloader anymore.

I did it!  I was so happy.  All the hard work tending to my girls.  Happy chickens lay eggs.  :)
