At Olde Towne Steak and Seafood, this past Saturday night, on my dinner plate was a red ring like the above picture. Sharon had one too. She ate hers and loved it. She thought it was a beet until the waitress corrected her telling her it was a Spiced Apple. I tried a bite of mine. I was not a fan. It wasn't awful but I just didn't like the taste. While googling a picture of spices apple I found this blog with the picture and a recipe in case you want to make it yourself. :)
