On Friday, we picked up Nate's mom, Linda and went to Virginia Beach to the Naval Air station Oceana. You can't actually get on the grounds but there is a parking lot next to the air station that you can park and watch the planes take off and land.
It was pretty neat to see. It will be better to go when it's warmer out though. It was a very cold and windy day. Linda, told us they do air shows withe the Blue Angels on the base in the summer so maybe we'll go check that out this year.
