December 2011

Sorry, I've been slow at posting this week. I got sick (just something to do with my lovely autoimmune disorder...APS) earlier in the week and needed a break. :) I take on so much sometimes that I forget that I just need to say NO sometimes and slow down.

Last weekend, we had December birthday celebrations. The boys stayed at the house and played poker. They had plenty of food and snacks while the girls went out. The girls took Kristen to The Melting Pot to celebrate her birthday. Some of us girls hadn't been there and couldn't wait to try it. :)

Each table has cooking stations on it.

The first course is your cheese course. We got a Spinach Artichoke and a Wisconsin Three Cheese. We had tons of things to dip in the cheeses. Breads, chips, green apples, and veggies. It was sooooo good.

Our waiter took a group picture! :)

Here we are with our raw meats on a plate and on the burners are the broths warming up ready for our skewers. ;)

Skewers in the pot. Mine is the green handle one. :)

Dessert course we had a ton of things to dip in melted chocolates. Fruit, Rice Krispie treats, brownies, pound cake, cheesecake, marshmallows coats in oreo cookies and graham crackers. YUM! :)

The melting pot was a lot of fun. :) Here's our table after we got up. :)

After we got back to my house we opened gifts with the boys and had Kit Kat Cake. Sharon was so cute. She was due this past week and she kept on snacking. We loved how she used her bump to hold her chips. haha :)
