Pumpkins

Today, I wanted to get some pumpkins for my front porch steps. So, I drove to Snead's Farm.

Entrance to Snead's Farm! :)

Sign as you enter telling you what to do. I like how you get your pumpkins and then on the honor code you drive up to the farm house and pay.

One of the pumpkin fields. :)

Sunflower field.......It's amazing! :)

Pumpkin display by the farm house. :)

Lots of pie pumpkins sitting in a wheel barrel.

Snead's Farm also grows their own Asparagus. I'll need to remember this for next Spring since asparagus is a favorite now.

My two cute pumpkins sitting on the step. :) I LOVE FALL! :)

Falling/Shooting Star

On my way home from work this morning at around 12:30am I saw a falling/shooting star. Yes, I made a wish but I can't tell you what it is b/c then it might not come true. :P

New Things Monday

A yummy new snack.....S'mores Trail Mix by Archer Farms at Target! OMG!! It's so good.

Inside the bag you'll find......

1. Candy coated marshmallows
2. Graham bites
3. Chocolate chunks
4. Pecans
5. Chocolate covered peanuts

What's not to love? Next time you're at target, pick up a bag. You won't be disappointed. :)

Yummo dinner

For dinner I made a little steak, baked potatoes, asparagus with bacon and I heated up the leftover Spanish rice that Sharon brought over last night. MMMM good!

Little Lamb Harley

Harley is LOVING his haircut! And I love it too. When he's walking around he looks like a little lamb. He's so cute! :)

First Annual Memorial Concert

Today, I went to a Chorale concert that Sharon was in. She's a member of the JoySong Chorale. It was at St. George's Episcopal Church downtown. It's a very pretty church. The concert started with a beautiful harp ensemble. The harp songs played were 'Carolan's Welcome', 'Morning had broken', 'My little welsh home', 'Journey', 'Inis Star', 'Be thou my vision', and 'June apple'.

After the harp ensemble the chorale began. Here's Sharon and the rest of the Sorpranos singing. They sang 'Heart of God', 'Adoramus Te', 'Panis Angelicus', Pie Jesu', 'Deep River', 'Keep me safe, O God', 'Amazing Grace', 'My Lord, What a morning', 'God Bless America', 'Battle Hymn of the Republic'.

After the concert was over we came back to my house and I made tacos for dinner for us. Sharon brought Spanish Rice. It was very good and went well with the tacos! :)

Fun day with K

Our friend, Shannon invited Kristen and me to a Creative Memories Workshop. We decided to go to. It was at Hopeful Baptist Church. $10 bucks for the workshop got us some freebies, lunch and the use of CM products. :) And of course, we got to hear the church gossip. LOL

Everyone is working so hard on their books. Kristen and I decided to work on our cruise scrapbooks. We got these kits on the ship and after opening them at the workshop we realized why they were on clearance. The stickers weren't sticky, the other embellishments were discolored, the marker was dried out and so was the glue...just crappy. :( Oh well! I still used some of the items but a lot of it was trashed.

My book! I pretty much finished mine. I only printed 25 pictures and used all the pics except for one. Kristen only got to day 3 of the trip. She def puts more thought and creativeness into her books.

After the workshop, we went to Kohl's to pick up something for Kristen's mom. You would have thought it was black friday. There was no where to park. We didn't find what Milbrey wanted so we left with nothing. After that we hung out at Kristen's. Dave had just woken up when we got there. After a few hours we decided to go to Mimi's Cafe for dinner. Dave got crab fritters but I called them 'crab balls' (lol) and K and I got the Turkey club sammwich. MMMM :)

After dinner we went to Sweet 95 for ice cream!!

How cute??
Dave treated us to ice cream and he also bought us a t-shirt! Kristen got grey and I got pink. It's really cute and I can't wait to wear it. :) For the ice cream, I got the pile up. It's chocolate ice cream with heath bar, peanut butter, reeses, and oreos. OMG! Sooooo good! :)

Harley: Before and After the shave....

Before shot. He wasn't too happy having to go to the VET this morning for his grooming appointment. But with all his mats he needed to get a nice shave.

He says "please don't look at me". He's still groggy from the sedation. He's so cute! :) The doctor said "He probably won't eat this evening", which is funny b/c the first thing he did when he walked out of carrier was off to the food dish. haha :) He's sitting on my lap now, happy that he's with his mama and at home. :)
