Cut and wash your strawberries.

Fruit pectin

Put berries in blender and pulse them a little.

Put water and pectin in a pot. Let boil for 1 min. and add to your berry/sugar mix.

Stir for 3 min. once you add the hot pectin.

Fresh homemade strawberry preserves. :) Put lids on them and let them cool for an hour. Then put in your fridge for 24 hours, then move to freezer. They will last for 6 months in the freezer.

Here's my loot of apple pie filling and strawberry jam! :)
The recipe:
* 8 cups strawberries, hulled and cut in half or quarters depending on their size
* 8 cups sugar or sugar substitute
* 1 1/2 cups water
* 2 pouches Fruit Pectin
