I wanted to make something with my lemon extract so last weekend I found an easy lemon pound cake recipe online.
I found it to be very dense and floury. Is that a word? LOL My husband and BFF said they loved it. It was sorta meh to me.
I think I can find a better lemon pound cake recipe so I won't repost the entire recipe here. You can just click on the link above if you want to try to bake it yourself.
I added more extract to mine because 1 tsp didn't seem like enough.
I felt that the glaze was wrong. It called for sugar. It should have been confectioners sugar. Recipe didn't specify what type. It was too runny.
