New Things Monday

Peanut Butter Chocolate Klondike sandwiches. What can go wrong with PB and chocolate together? Nothing in my opinion except for these ice cream sandwiches. I thought these were terrible. They are very bland and the only time you taste peanut butter is the glob of pb that's in the middle of the sandwich with a little drizzle of chocolate. It really isn't worth the calories. I know I won't be buying these again. Oh and after searching about these online I'm not the only one who thinks this. Read here.

New Things Monday

For today's feature, I'm going with Domino's Pizza. I haven't had it in years and I know they have changed their recipe. We had a birthday gathering for Nate's mom yesterday and we ordered some pizzas from Domino's. We got Wisconsin 6 cheese (pictured above), Ultimate pepperoni feast, and Extravaganzza feast. I def love the new recipe. Tastes real good. And my favorite one was the Wisconsin 6 cheese. Very good! :)

Surprise College Graduation lunch for Kristen

Today, we (Ashley, Crystal, Melissa, Sharon and I) threw a Graduation lunch celebration for Kristen at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in their Bronte Bistro. We rented out the private room there. It was the perfect size for our luncheon.

Here's Kristen walking in. We made her put on a grad hat and we had pomp & circumstance playing in the background.

The tables! Our theme was 'past, present and future'. The first college started with James Madison University, next Germanna Community College, then J Sargent Community college and her studies will continue onto University of Richmond.

The table at the front of the room. Chocolate grad hats and chocolate diplomas favors. Roses from Sharon and Joe and paper mache books that some of us girls painted. :)

Everyone finishing up lunch and chatting. I think everyone had a great time and I think Kristen might have for once loved all the attention. :)

Us girls got Kristen 'Felicity' all 4 seasons on DVD. I know she'd been wanting them and I figured it was the perfect college graduation present. :) She loved them! YEY!!! I feel the party was a success. Congrats again K!! We're soooo proud of you and everything you've accomplished. :)

Tupperware cabinet organized!

These last couple of days I've been organizing and clearing out things. Yesterday, I cleaned out my baking pantry. I had so many specialty cake pans that it wasn't even funny. I've had them for years and never used them. Probably bought them thinking I could make a cake look just like that, but we all know how easy that's not for me. Remember the sheepy cake? LOL

I should have taken pics yesterday but I didn't.

Today, I decided to tackle the tupperware cabinet. It wasn't as bad as it's been in the past but it was bad. haha

Not a real big difference but it's def better. I found some things in there that haven't been used either so I added them to the yard sale pile. Big items I have listed on Craigslist.

I also organized my cabinets where I keep the coffee maker, and mugs. I purged some mugs b/c we never use them. I'm keeping the plain white ones b/c those go with my white dinner plates.

Filing is done

Since I got sick last summer I haven't filed anything. I just kept adding to the pile. :(

I guess it doesn't look that bad...

Until you look up close at the bowl. ahaha Lots of stuff. I don't even know how many stupid credit card offers. I must have shredded 50 plus. And that's no exaggerating either. It's ridiculous how much junk mail accumulates. I don't even know why I kept those offers when I knew I would never apply for any of them. Credit cards are the devil my friends. :)

Wow....it's all bare now. haha :) It took me about an hour. I have a bag completely full of trash. It feels good to finally go thru that stack and file bills away. :)

And the bowl is EMPTY! :)

New Things Monday

Another target product. I love these daily cleaning clothes! I've been using them for a few weeks now. Nate doesn't like the smell of them but I told him to deal with it. haha Cleansing clothes aren't suppose to smell good. I don't think they are bad. I'm sure there are more expensive clothes out there that probably smell just the same. I think I got like a pack of 2 for around $4. You can't beat that!! They make your face nice and soft and CLEAN! :)

Happy New Year

It's a new year! Happy New Year!

Last night was fun. We (Nate, Kristen, Dave, Crystal, Eddie, Sharon, Joe and me) went to Sharon and Joe's. We rang in the new year like 3 min after Midnight. We were watching Dick Clark's countdown and with about 52 seconds left till Midnight we all realized we didn't have a drink or or significant other by our side. We PAUSED the TV and scrambled. Then we hit play and did the countdown, but just 3 min later or so that real time. haha :) Then we sang happy birthday to our Eddie. Nice, fun night! :)
